Hubert‘s Restaurant

Traditional German cooking with a modern touch: brothers Agron and Meriton Zeqiri have run Hubert's in Kempen-St. Hubert since July 2025.

Beer garden

Hubert's in the Kempen district of St. Hubert serves traditional German cuisine in a contemporary style. The restaurant has been run since 10 July 2025 by brothers Agron and Meriton Zeqiri, who both trained as chefs in Kempen.

Food & Offer

The menu pairs classics such as roast beef and rump steak with lighter dishes – mixed asparagus salad, cod fillet or baked sweet potato with feta. Less common choices like goat with beetroot appear as well, and desserts include warm chocolate cake. For special occasions the brothers put together their own menus; at Christmas, for instance, roast goose with red cabbage and homemade dumplings. Alongside the restaurant, Hubert's offers catering. In warm weather the beer garden is worth a visit: a shed was converted in March 2026 into a drinks counter, shortening the walk for the service team.

History

Agron and Meriton Zeqiri were originally born in Kempen, returned to Kosovo as small children and came back to the Lower Rhine for good in 2015. Agron started his chef's apprenticeship at Haus Ercklentz in Kempen in 2016, with his brother following a year later. From late 2019 until 2025 the two shaped the kitchen at Et Kemp sche Huus before opening their own restaurant, Hubert's, in July 2025.
