Berndiel
Berndiel lies in the Schippach district on a plateau at around 375 m above sea level, between the Schippach valley to the west and the Erf valley to the east; the hamlet is reached only via the MIL 19 dead-end road from Schippach. Until the Bavarian territorial reform it belonged to the municipality of Schippach, which was fully incorporated into Miltenberg in 1976. The 1970 census recorded 27 residents, and in 1987 the place had four residential buildings with six dwellings and 26 inhabitants.
