A Garden for the Senses
The garden centres on experiencing plants with hands and nose. Five raised beds bring together fragrance, touch and aroma plants that can be felt and smelled; in the adjoining herb garden the sense of taste is added too. So that every visitor can find their way, the plant names are also labelled in Braille.
Along the walkway, four scent arbours invite you to linger. They offer space for rest, contemplation and a sensory encounter with nature. A few metres away begins the butterfly meadow, one of the Parkhof's loveliest attractions in summer.
Saint Odilia
The garden is dedicated to Saint Odilia, the patron saint of the blind. A statue of the saint stands at the entrance to the Parkhof and greets visitors before they immerse themselves in the world of scent and touch.

The grounds adjoin the Kleinheubach palace park, in the direction of Miltenberg. The country inn "Parkhof" belongs to the site, and its beer garden is regarded as a quiet, contemplative spot. Amid plane trees, oaks, field maples, wych elms and lindens, a visit can be rounded off with a stop for refreshments.
